O-MEGA System Typical Occurring Reaction

The O-MEGA Hydroxyl Ion Fog Odor Control System uses a patented technique to efficiently and cost effectively apply hydroxyl ion fog to eliminate noxious odors and to significantly reduce H₂S levels typically found at water and waste water facilities. O-MEGA systems combine ozone with a rapid application of micron size water particles to create a hydroxyl ion fog that is dispersed throughout the entire lift station air space, generating a large reaction surface area.

This unique method creates an efficient reactive environment inside the lift station air space by covering the entire space, not just at the water line.

The by products of the reaction fall back into the water stream and are carried away as natural chemistries, very little reactants are vented to the atmosphere through the air vent.
